Belgian fanciers have been quite impressed with the level of performance from the pigeons of the royal Injaaz lofts near Liège, which is home to the elite class breeding collection of the Prince of Qatar. He has joined the national competition in Belgium with two different lofts: the first team is raced under his own name (Prince Mischal Al Thani), the second team is raced under the name of his oldest son Sjeik Abdallah Al Thani.
In 2014 again the partnership Vermeerbergen-Wilms acted on the highest level in pigeon racing … Their racing team won 19x pure 1st prize from 120 km to 610 km, including provincial victories on Tours and Gueret.

The pigeon family of Serge Dhondt has had a great 2014 season, winning several first prizes and achieving excellent overall results. This is thanks to a lot of hard work, an experienced fancier, and of course a collection of pigeons based on a solid breed, originating from the bloodlines of three outstanding breeding dams.

The National Flying Club young bird race was expected to be from Fougères, but due to bad weather on the Saturday the birds were brought back to Falaise and released on the Tuesday morning at 09.30am BST. The following is a report on the provisional result based on members' verifications.
