Because from Cahors just over a week the colony of Chris Hebberecht from Evergem, once again stranded at an honourable ‘Poulidor place’… at 2° place national, but well good enough for a new resounding provincial victory! And Chris now seems to have a ‘patent’ on provincial victories’. No year passes without him adding to his richly filled honours list… at national level he stranded at close honours places so as…

The provincial winner 2010 from Cahors is the ‘Jamar’ B07-4361013… a son of the 2° Nat Ace pigeon long distance KBDB 2005: the ‘Champion’ B01-4094638 (son of the ‘Schone Zwarten 123/93’ x ‘Geschelpt Krommen 223/99’) x ‘Blauwke B01-4094664’, grandmother of the 10° prize ‘One Loft Race Sanghai’ 2006 from Gerard Koopman (out ‘Bjorn 551/90’ x ‘Fijn Blauwke 655/98’).
The ‘Champion’ has in the meantime developed into a real top breeder and is also grandfather of
‘Home – Alone’: 1° prize ‘One loft race’ in Thailand 2008
‘Spy’: 2° prize ‘One Million dollar race’ South-Africa 2009
An excellent breeding line, that much is clear! The honours list of ‘Jamar’, who by the way for Cahors was basketted as 1° nominated… looks like this:

At club level in Lokeren, the Hebberecht team also over classed the entire competition and won the first 4 prizes (see performances below), in addition to a fine 9/12. The second pigeon to register in Evergem was not just any old pigeon either… it was the ‘national top racer ‘ the ‘Jaws’ B07-4081813. He also doesn’t get it from a stranger as son of ‘Pokémon’ B99-4262348, self 1° Prov Brive 3.433 p… (and son of the stock bear ‘Bjorn’ 551/90 x ‘Mieke’ 640/96 a Herbots-hen) x ‘Daughter Krommen’ B04-4217179 (daughter of the ‘Krommen 629/91’ x ‘Daughter Bjorn 955/01’). Magnificent performances on which Chris Hebberecht already seems to have a logical follow-up for the ‘high season’ for the national long distance and grand distance… which is about to take place. No-one doubts that the Hebberecht pigeons will also be successful in these races… because over the last decade everyone has felt what these pigeons are capable of… and who knows, the already long earned ‘national victory’ may finally happen! The Hebberecht family certainly deserve it!
So… ‘fingers crossed’…
