How to place a bid?

To place a bid you can send an e-mail at auctions@pipa.be
or call 0032 (0) 472 71 77 28 or 0032 (0) 9 374 38 87

If it is your first time bidding here please SEND AN E-MAIL, and mention:
- the band number of the pigeon
- the amount you want to bid
- your phone number
- your postal address
- your e-mail address
- ...

IMPORTANT:
If the ending of the auction is very near, it is safer to make a phonecall, because the Internet can't guarantee the e-mail reaches us on time!

Buying orders

You can submit a buying order - this allows for us to bid for you up to a certain amount.
Bids done with a buying order are noted in the bidding list with: "(by b.o.)".
In case of equal buying orders, the bidder who gave the first buying order receives priority over the second bidder.

Minimum bid step

If price is between 50 and 500 EURO: Min bid increase: 25 EURO
If price is between 500 and 1.000 EURO: Min bid increase: 50 EURO
If price is between 1.000 and 3.000 EURO: Min bid increase: 100 EURO
If price is + 3.000 EURO: Min bid increase: 200 EURO

Auction prolongment

If there is a bid during the last 15 minutes before the auction closes, the auction end will be extended by 15 minutes.

Example:
- auction ends at 5:00 PM
- there is a bid at 4:47 PM
- the auction end will be extended to 5:15 PM

Sex of young birds

The sex of young birds is always an indication! Never 100% sure!

Extra costs?

The amount you bid is the price you pay. There is NO extra commission charge like there is in public auctions!

Shipment?

After payment, the pigeon may be collected in the PIPA OFFICES in Knesselare - Belgium. Transport can also be arranged in different ways, depending on the country of destination. Transport costs will be charged to the buyer.
