We noticed in their pedigrees that they have the bloodlines of Tieke and Justine Bliksem, as is the case for most of the top class pigeons of this loft. The Tieke (BE00-3010207) was named after the fact that the bird had a white spot in its eye. This cock managed to win the title of first Provincial Ace Pigeon Middle Distance West Flanders both in 2001 and 2002. The Justine Bliksem is a daughter of the world famous Bliksem of Gaby Vandenabeele.

Justine Bliksem (BE06-3008201) has bred an impressive number of excellent descendants. She was always paired with a son of Tieke:

To conclude

The pigeons of the Tieke and Justine Bliksem bloodlines have allowed father and son De Laere to race at the highest level. They have an impressive list of descendants that have won first prizes against large groups. When the two fanciers discovered the amazing breeding qualities of these two pigeons they started breeding a very successful pigeon family. Meanwhile other fanciers in Belgium and abroad have been able to take advantage of these exceptional bloodlines as well.
