Gaby Vandenabeele - Dentergem (BE) 1st provincial Argenton II West-Flanders yearlings.

We don’t know whether this last prov. victory of 2009 is included in this number… but it is still a remarkable number.
In the recent (national) Argenton the people of West-Flanders basketted (for the prov. doubles) 526 yearlings and of these the “Butler” from the grandmaster out Dentergem showed that he was the fastest over the, for him, 506 kilometres with 1092,29 m/min. According to the predictions he should end 11th at National level.
This “Butler” has already pulled various things out of his “sleeve” in this almost over 2009 season.

First his balance sheet as a youngster !
Top from Clermont (7th/565p)  - followed by prize from Brionne (not early) – then Ablis and Tours (457th/2410 pigeons) and finished !
Now in 2009 as a yearling !
He classified himself 2 x from Roye ( 25th/252p and 5th/273p), then raced 2 x Ablis ( 87th/328p and 2nd/319p). Then he raced in the famous Orléans Rekkem  with  the 27th prize against 1331 pigeons, then came Bourges (4922nd nat / 22499p) and Argenton on 13/6 with 2nd interprovincial against 3387 old birds and 3rd interprovincial against 5251 yearlings. Fourteen days later there was another Argenton with 760th interprov against 3251 yearlings. Another fourteen days later (11/7) the “Butler” raced national Limoges with as provincial result 577th / 3326p and in zone A 1158th/7586 pigeons. On 25/7 it was the direction of Bourges II with provincially the 98th prize against 1003 pigeons of the same age. Finally on the 8th of August this chap went to Argenton and finished as 1st interprovincial against 526 yearlings.
