The super season of Verreckt-Arien has been crowned now with the National victory on Tulle old birds and at the same time fastest birds against more than 15.000 old birds and yearlings together. A number of years ago one of the most successful racing pigeon breeding operations in the entire USA was owned and operated by one Campbell Strange. The name of the farm, known worldwide, was “Oak Haven Farms”. Campbell was well known to key European players.
The race from Narbonne was the penultimate international classic of the racing season. With 13.531 pigeons at the start (just over 900 less than the previous season)… including 6.362 Belgian pigeons… the organisers had a nice number of pigeons in the basket for this top classic.
