Johan Gyselbrecht has passed away

Johan stemmed then from a real pigeon fancying family, and for the last few years he had also pledged his heart to the pigeons. After a life of working hard and taking care of his wife and children, Johan… who worked for the firm Campina…  was starting to  look forward to early retirement, which was to take place this October.
Recently he and his brother Georges took care of his father Remi’s pigeons… and he nourished the dream that starting next season, when he would have more free time… of immersing himself in the pigeon sport, and together with brother Georges continue the nice successes from the family lofts in Knesselare by father Remi.
However, fate decided differently… because Johan has had to leave us much too soon after a short, but painful sickness. 

The funeral ceremony will take place on Saturday the 13th of February at 11 o’clock in the parish church in Adegem.

We would like to take this opportunity to offer our deepest condolences to his wife, his children and grandchildren, and the entire Gyselbrecht family… and to wish them strength in this dark period.
