Improved feature! Ask the vet!

With the launching of the new PiPa-site a great deal of the features have been improved. One of them is the ‘Ask the vet’-feature in which all the questions which have been put to our veterinary surgeons over the last few years have been bundled together, along, of course, with their answers.

We have further divided these into 4 sub-sections, namely Disease, Symptoms, Treatment and Other. In each of these sections you can find a list of keywords. For example, in the ‘Symptoms’ section you can click on ‘Wet eye’ and you will see all the questions and answers relating to this topic. The bundling of all these questions per keyword ensures a unique structured database

This way, it should be much easier for you as a visitor to find certain questions and answers.

You can find this feature under the section ‘News & Articles’ where you subsequently click on ‘Ask the vet’ in the left-hand column.

You can of course still put all your questions to one of our veterinary surgeons. Click in the ‘Ask the vet’ feature on the figure at the bottom, where you can fill in your details and ask your question. We will pass your question on to one of our veterinary surgeons.

HI I HAVE PROBLEM WITH A YONGSTERS THEY HAVE LIKE CUTS AN THE FEATERS IN THE FLYTS NORMAL IS THE FIRST TO MOLDS AND THESE HAPPEN FIRST YEAR FOR ME I SEE IN SOME ONE LOFT BUT I DO NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM IN MY LOFT BEFOR SO PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT TO DO TO GET OUT THIS PROBLEM THANK .STAN

De eerste 2 wedvluchten van het seizoen verliepen goed,50% procent prijs op de eerste vlucht en 1 tm 3 in club plus 50% prijs in club;3 duiven bij eerste tien in Rayon.De derde vlucht was een ramp in mijn ogen....22e plek beginnen in de club plus 2 duiven kwijt,waaronder de 1e prijsvlieger van de week ervoor.Wat opvalt deze week is dat ze minder trainen en dat de rulle nekken NIET verdwijnen.We hebben een stenen hok,ramen staan op het zuiden,afgelopen week in de ochtend luchtvochtigheid van 60% na openen ramen 40%,er zitten 14 weduwnaars in een hok van 2,50x5m.Het plafond is t/m helft van het plafond vanaf de broedhokken gesloten,andere helft gaas.Dakpannen niet zichtbaar t/m nok.......

Wat kan de oorzaak zijn van die rulle nekken en waarom verdwijnt het niet?

Dear Sir , A fancier said that he always buys the children of super racers from Long /Middle distance , however , he thinks a super racer /breeder almost can not breed real good babies when they are old , because they lost their energy and vigor .So he prefers to buy the children of young super pigeons . An old pigeon is really hard to breed good babies ? why ?

hello. what can by the problem with some of yearlings now in the middle of racing sezon moulting arond the neck chest ears nose...rest of the birds they ok this simptoms i have with 5--6 yearling bird from the 80 birds team. can be kind of disease or maybe some stress??

Ik heb een 3jaarse duif die telkens hij van een vlucht komt door zijn ene poot valt,hij kan er soms gedurende een paar uur niet opstaan. Als ik dan aan die poot voel gloeit die geweldig,terwijl zijn andere poot fris aanvoelt.Dit gloeiend gevoel kan wel een dag of 10 duren.Wat kan hiervan de oorzaak zijn?
