Erik Limbourg & his pigeonpartner Geert De Clercq win with great lead the 1st International Bordeaux Yearlings and have by far the fastest pigeon in the whole race against 13.386 birds.
The winner got the name 'Gilbert', just like the father of Erik Limbourg, who is hit now by cancer. Still his father was present today and was the first person that saw the first bird arriving.

Men kan hier niet spreken van een internationaal daar Oost- EN West Vlaanderen uitgesloten worden. Het is eigenlijk belachelijk als men ziet dat bvb. Knokke niet mag meedoen en over de Zwinmonding men wel mag meedoen aan die 'INTERNATIONAAL'.
