We vernemen het overlijden van mevrouw Peggy Vervaeren uit Rillaar, echtgenote van Johan De Clercq (De Clercq-Vervaeren). Vorig jaar wonnen ze samen nog het nationaal kampioenschap Asduif Grote Fond.

A particularly instructive visit to the tandem De Clercq Vervaeren brought us to Rillaar, by the winners of the nationals Ace bird Grand Distance. Rillaar is a municipality of the city Aarschot, situated in the east of the province Flemish Brabant.

The championship of the best yearling hens 2011 on the international races (2 prizes) is known. The best three pigeons are from Belgium: first are De Clercq-Vervaeren from Rillaar, second is Etienne Meirlaen from Deurne and the top three is completed by Bert Penne from Nederhasselt.
